This program provides in-person instruction only.
This course prepares students for entrylevel positions as a clinical medical assistant in doctors offices, clinicsor HMOs. Instruction includes medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, injections, phlebotomy, vital signs, basic laboratory procedures, charting and documentation. Externships are served at local medical facilities.
