The Nursing Assistant program at Mission Career College is designed to prepare students for California state exam; Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA). This comprehensive 160-hour course combines 60 hours of classroom-based theory with 100 hours of hands-on clinical training, providing students with the knowledge and practical experience needed to begin a career in the healthcare field.Students receive instruction in essential nursing concepts, patient care procedures, and safety protocols, along with supervised clinical experience in a variety of community-based healthcare facilities. Classroom instruction is held on-site at Mission Career College, while the clinical training is conducted in partnership with local medical centers and long-term care facilities.Upon successful completion, students will be eligible to sit for the California CNA certification exam. The cost of the certification exam is included in the program tuition, ensuring a seamless path from training to professional licensure.
