This is a hybrid or blended program providing both in-person and online instruction.
Expanded Learning Program Leaders contribute to the care, development, and instruction ofyouth (typically ages 4-18 years) through Expanded Learning programs (i.e., before/afterschool programs, summer camps, etc.). Expanded Learning Program Leaders provide literacyinstruction, homework support, and other enrichment activities. Expanded Learning Program Leader Apprenticeships provides a career pathway throughwhich people entering the field can receive on-the-job learning and related instruction primarilyin the context of afterschool settings. Upon completion of the Apprenticeship, graduates willmeet the qualifications for the position of Program Leader in various expanded learningsettings.
