This program provides in-person instruction only.

The Basic Police Course-Modular Format is delivered in a three-level instructional sequence. Successful completion of the Module III, Module II, and Module I modes constitutes satisfaction of the Basic Course training requirement. There are twenty nine (29) learning domains covered in Mod I (LD 1, 4, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 18-30, 32, 33, 35, 37, 38, 40, 41, 43). This training is certified by POST (Peace Officer Standards and Training).This course is designed to meet the new Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) requirements for the Regular Basic Course (Modular Format), Level I as of July 2008. This course is Part I (AJ52A), II (AJ52B), and III (AJ52C) of the necessary training requirements for peace officers.
