This is a hybrid or blended program providing both in-person and online instruction.
Medical Assistant class prepares students for entry level employment in physicians offices, clinics, and other related health care facilities. The program consists of 3 modules which include Fundamentals of Medical Assisting, Administrative, and Clinical. The Front Office component consists of 6 weeks in class and online instruction and the Back Office component consists of 21 weeks in class instruction, plus 2 days per week online theory, and medical terminology for a total of 540 hours, plus 180 hours of externship.
