This program provides in-person instruction only.
This is a Career Builder Course Bundle, composed of 4 courses.The objective of this career builder bundle is for students who want to develop skills for a more versatile welding career. Successful completion of this bundle gives students the skills necessary for employment in structural welding and pipe welding and be well versed in two different welding processes (SMAW and FCAW). Includes instruction in Oxy-Acetylene, Shielded Metal Arc Welding and Flux Core Arc Welding processes and structural design, safety, and applicable codes and standards. This course bundle also includes preparation for the Los Angeles City Structural Welder Certification. This career builder bundle also includes 3 welder certification tests: AWS D1.1 with SMAW, AWS D1.1 with FCAW and ASME Section IX. Tools must be purchased separately and are not included in costs here. Students will be provided with the list of required tools for the course that must be purchased at a welding supply store, costing approximately $1000.
