The HealthImpact California Registered Nurse Specialty Apprenticeship Program is a program for already licensed registered nurses conducted through a competency-based approach, providing related supplemental instruction carried out through various evidence-based teaching-learning methods scheduled separate from on-the-job experience working with a mentor/preceptor provided by the employer. Training and related instruction are guided by national standards of practice and competencies specific to each Ambulatory specialty area. This apprenticeship program is not for individuals looking to become registered nurses.
