Solid Works has become a worldwide industry leader in affordable 3-d feature based parametric solid modeling software for mechanical design and engineering. Solid Works utilizes an intuitive user interface, one of the best in the industry, and is based on the powerful parisolid kernel. users of pro-e, unigraphics, catia, and other high-end cad software are discovering the portability, shorter learning curve, and expanded power and capability of Solid Works. This course will help participants develop skill and speed in creating complex 3-d solid models and prepare fully dimensioned engineering drawings. This training program is tailored for experienced manufacturing, design, and engineering professionals who need to develop skill and speed in applying feature- based parametric modeling principles and techniques to create complex feature-based 3-d solid models. Student applying for this class should have an understanding of blueprint reading, manufacturing design, and mechanical design.
