The Associate in Science in Nursing reflects the goals and mission of the college and provides excellent nursing education that is accessible to individuals from a variety of cultural, educational, and life experience backgrounds. The nursing program is an integral part of the college, the community, and the nursing profession. The purpose of the nursing program is to promote the optimum health and wellness of individuals, families, and the community by preparing individuals for successful entry into the dynamic profession of nursing. An Associate in Science in Nursing requires 70 units, including general education and at least 64 units required by the major.
